CELEBRATING POLYSYLLABISM

Author’s Notes : A celebration of four, five six and seven syllable words

Most often viewed as cloistered and clossetted
In the banks of those designated ivory towered
Words Carpeted Containing syllables four to seven

Thought by some to be high powered and up market
Though it’s clear the stretch of words telleth not
The Quantity Neither yet the Quality of semantics
Contained either within or without, in context.

For the length of an utterance correlates imperfectly
With its meaning, its intent, its rhythm, its rhyme, its symmetry

Still, economy of pack in principle does without doubt, Recommend.
And duty sterling these words do; In the tappestry their part displayed
Pleased am I to call them acquaintance if not intimate friend.

In gereral, enabling abstraction, chrystallisation, telegraphication
And all manner of propogation’s garments and newly crafted appartments.
